On Saturday afternoon, 24th November the White Church held its Advent Afternoon. Volunteers from the Church set-up and decorated the Dawson Hall on Friday evening and opened this social and fund-raising event on Saturday at 2pm. Tea and mince pies were on offer together with various stalls and a raffle. The White Church’s own, John Cooper entertained us with some festive piano playing. Those attending enjoyed themselves and all-in-all it was a great success.
