Seder meal

All are invited to a Seder meal to celebrate Passover and Maundy Thursday. The meal will take place at Marton URC on Maundy Thursday 14th April at 4pm-6pm. We pray and worship God throughout the meal finishing with the Eucharist.

The meal comprises:

· four cups of wine/fruit juice (please bring your own)

· herbs dipped in saltwater

· flat, dry cracker-like bread called matzah

· bitter herbs, horseradish and romaine lettuce, dipped into charoset (a paste of nuts, apples & pears)

· Baked potato

· Lamb chops

A begging bowl will be passed around at the end of the meal.
