For many years the White Church has raised money, by a variety of means, to support, different local charities. For the year 2018 the congregation’s chosen local charity was Face to Face, an organisation providing meals and practical assistance to local Homeless people to move back into housing. A donation of £750 was handed to Margaret West, one of the founders of Face to Face, at the beginning of 2019, when she gave an insight to the congregation of the White Church on the much needed work that they do locally. We are continuing to support this charity through 2019.
Charities we have supported in past years include Lytham St Annes RNLI Lifeboat Appeal, Parkinson’s UK Lytham St Annes and District Support Group, Blackpool Young Carer’s, The Blackpool and Fylde Stroke Group, Bowland Mountain Rescue and North West Air Ambulance.
